Truss Repair Construction Project Update – April 2024

Since October 16th, the Armonk Branch of the North Castle Public Library has undergone an extensive construction project to repair the building’s trusses.

We want to thank our community for being so patient during this process, which has unexpectedly taken significantly longer than we first anticipated. Our goal is to reopen the library by the end of March.

What remains available and open until we fully reopen includes the following:

*The Friend’s Gallery remains open and available for programming and study/work use.
*The Cafe remains open and available for programming and study/work use.
*New Fiction, New Non-Fiction, New Large Print, and New DVDs for all age groups will remain accessible to patrons in the upstairs lobby.
*A small browsable collection of titles in the Friend’s Gallery.
*Upstairs restroom.
*Staff will continue to be on-site to assist with reference questions, check-ins, and check-outs.
*North White Plains Branch, as well as all online resources and databases, will remain open and available as usual.
*Hours of operation will continue to remain the same.
*A variety of programs for all ages will continue to be offered.

Thank you, as always, for all of your support!

We cannot wait to fully reopen and offer great programs for Spring and Summer!
